CampusConnect — Student Platform
A responsive platform helping students discover campus events, clubs, workshops, and useful resources.
A focused design exploration for a more thoughtful campusconnect experience.
A responsive platform helping students discover campus events, clubs, workshops, and useful resources. This case study documents the thinking, visual decisions, and interaction direction behind the concept.
Start with the friction, not the feature list.
Campus opportunities often live in scattered channels. Students need a clear way to browse what is happening, understand why it matters, and commit without friction.
A working lens for the design.
I organized the experience around intent rather than departments: discover something new, find a specific event, or return to a saved plan.
Make the next action feel obvious.
The primary journey is intentionally compact, giving the product a clear rhythm from first intent to a useful outcome.

Structure before surface.
The responsive wireframes tested how discovery could stay rich on desktop while collapsing into a focused, thumb-friendly list on smaller screens.
A visual language with a job to do.
Soft blue is reserved for actions and event states. A strong grid, compact metadata, and editorial image crops help a busy campus calendar feel curated.
A calmer interface, shaped around the moment that matters.
The final direction creates a single front door for campus life, combining a glanceable event feed with enough context to make a confident choice.
Give the idea a pulse.
The prototype traces a student from the discovery feed to a registered event, with responsive behavior included in the interaction story.
The takeaway is in the decisions.
Information architecture can feel visual. The right grouping and rhythm make a large set of possibilities feel like an invitation rather than a directory.
